Dauntless - Defiant - Resolute by Chill E.B.
Introducing talented singer, Maari Percy
I attended the second event, hosted by David Miscavige, celebrating the anniversary of the 1988 maiden voyage of the Scientology ship, the Freewinds, at Saint Hill Manor last night.
The subject of the event was the wonderful and heart-warming social betterment activities of the International Association of Scientologists (IAS). The civilizing influence the IAS is having on our society is astounding: by reducing the harm caused by the insidious psychiatric-pharma alliance; by preventing drug abuse; by improving human rights; by providing selfless disaster relief and much much more.
As is traditional with Scientology events, proceedings began with a musical performance. But in this case, we were treated to two musical performances: the first was a live rendition of this CCHR video, "CCHR: Psychiatry—Labeling Kids with Bogus 'Mental Disorders", performed by kids from Saint Hill.
The kids from Saint Hill: Stop the bogus psychiatric labeling of kids!
Then we watched the first UK public showing (as far as I am aware) of "IAS: Dauntless - Defiant - Resolute" video by humanitarian rapper, Chill E.B. It was so uplifting! It reminded me just how much the IAS is doing, globally, to make this world a better place.
A rising star you can not fail to miss in the video is the very talented singer, Maari Percy. What a great voice she has! I realised that I've seen her perform here many times before at the annual Saint Hill Gala Charity Concert, so it was great to spot her on screen.
Here's a photo I took of her during the 2007 Saint Hill Gala Charity Concert:
I think we'll be seeing a lot more of Maari in times to come!
