Saint Hill International Arts Festival welcomed a Hollywood magician and the granddaughter of one of the two founders of Warner Brothers to the stage.

In its 19th year, the festival held at Saint Hill Manor in Saint Hill Road, boasts a star-studded line up.

Kicking off with a classical concert, the festival got in full swing with a week of activities and shows including hip hop and Scottish dancing workshops and seminars on how to get published or create dresses for a fashion show.

A highlight of the week was the showing of Cass Warner’s award-winning biographical film The Brothers Warner.

Cass Warner, the granddaughter of Harry Warner, one of the two brothers that started the legendary Warner Brothers films, came over from Hollywood to take part in the activities and on the closing night was presented with a lifetime achievement award by Sheila Gaiman, the executive producer of the arts festival.

Magician, Stan Gerson

Also on the final night of the festival, Stan Gerson, a member of the Academy of Magical Arts at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, performed an evening of magic.

Stan’s illusions have put him in front of numerous US Presidents, heads of state and royalty throughout the world.

The arts festival committee are now making plans for the 2011 festival.
