Another massive Scientology church opens - this time in Berlin

The Church of Scientology's growth of late has been stellar and shows no signs of abating. 1500 organisations (churches, missions and groups) were opened in 2006 alone!

Last October, saw the opening of the beautiful 6 storey Church of Scientology of London in the City's Queen Victoria Street. And today, (13 Jan 07), the same is happening in Berlin, Germany with the opening of their the new Church of Scientology of Berlin (
Scientology Kirche Berlin) at the corner of Otto Suhr Allee and Cauer Street in the Charlottenburg district. This too is a 6 storey building, now redecorated in the Bauhaus style.

"The aim of our Church is to help with social programmes, as well as the rehabilitation of criminals, drug addiction, drug prevention and human rights," said Ute Kiessl, a spokeswoman from the Church of Scientology.

The aims of Scientology are:

A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where man is free to rise to greater heights.
